Lord Mayors Own (York) Scout Group was founded in 1923. We are a successful Group based in York, open to young people aged 6 – 18 years old.
We have a weekly programme of opportunities for our young people to have fun, and challenge themselves in a safe a supportive environment gaining skills for life.
Scouts prepares and helps young people to speak up and play a positive part in our communities. This includes teamwork, leadership and resilience.
All our children are supported by a team of adult leaders who are are provided with a programme of training and are all volunteers
We believe in bringing people together, so if you’re up for learning something new, making friends for life and having fun, come and join us.
