Adult Volunteers

We have young people eager to join in the fun and adventure of scouting, and cannot offer these opportunities without people volunteering with us. Our leaders are just ordinary people like you, who make great things happen for our children. We would like someone who can help to run games and activities and to join us on outings and events.
Support and training is available and encouraged for all adult volunteers. An ability to communicate with young people of the relevant age range and a sense of humour are all that are required!

Not all volunteers are leaders there are many ways that you can support our group, to ensure we give our young people a programme that is fun and exciting.

We are always trying to grow and develop scouting within our community, with your support we can reach more young people and given more opportunities.

Volunteering with us is easy, fun and flexible – how much time you give is completely up to you. Whether you help out once a fortnight, month or term or just at special events or camps, love a bit of DIY, enjoy making lists or can make a great cup of tea, there is bound to be a role you can play, and no matter how you get involved, we’ll make sure you’re properly trained and supported.
