What do Beavers get up to?

The Beaver colony is for children between 6 and 8 years old. They get a chance to try a wide range of different activities as well as going on trips, day visits, camps and sleepovers.

Beavers have opportunities to earn a range of badges and awards to recognise their achievements.

They do this each week by taking part in a weekly programme organised by our volunteers which is packed with fun and adventure

Outdoor Adventures: Exploring nature, playing games in outdoor environment, and learning about nature and the world around us.

Be Creative : Learning how to construct and make things, by building, painting, and making all sorts of imaginative creations. Learning new songs or trying our acting skills

Be part of a team and the Community: Playing team games, showing how to be helpful and a good friend. Look at our wider community and the world around us. Take part in local events and learn how we can make a positive impact on the people and areas around us.

If your child would love to be introduced to the outdoors and have the opportunity to take part in fun things with their friends, while earning badges to show their achievements then contact us and give Lord Mayors Own Beavers a try.

Meeting details: Our Beavers meet on a Tuesday evening from 6.15pm to 7.30pm
