The adventures and opportunities just keep growing and Scouts aims to build and develop young people’s confidence, sense of adventure and outdoor skills, as well as encouraging them to explore their beliefs and attitudes and be creative. It offers them the independence to put these skills into practice at camps and even on international trips.

What do Scouts do?

Outdoor Adventure: More camping opportunities, hiking, navigation skills and first aid are enjoyed along with time on the water, learning survival skills and planning expeditions.

Community Projects: Making a positive impact in the local community. Learn how to speak out and share your passion for change with others.

Develop Leadership experience: Look after someone and teach them a new skill, while encouraging team work within your patrol. Take an active part in Scout Forums or meetings and share the information with others.

Badges and Awards: Develop your skills and earn badges and awards on a mixture of interests. something for every young person. It’s a great way to have fun, make friends, get outdoors, express your creativity and experience the wider world. The list is endless.

Meeting Times: Scouts meet on a Wednesday evening from 7.30pm to 9pm.
